How You Can Do Pull-Ups Without a Pull-Up Bar
No fitness equipment available? No problem. Here’s how you can do pull-ups without a pull-up bar.

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. -Arthur Ashe
I’ve been in situations where I found myself without any training equipment available, yet my desire to train and become stronger exceeded my circumstances. I realized that my body can adapt to any environment and I can use it like Swiss Army knife. I did not need anything in particular and I already had everything I needed to train. So do you!
Doing Pull-ups is the same. You do not necessarily need a bar, if it isn’t practical or available. Try doing a few off a door, provided that it is sturdy enough and won’t move. You’ll find it a lot more challenging, since you must drag yourself up the door.
This is one of my favorite bodyweight circuits: Hindu Push-ups, Pistol Squats and Door Pull-ups. Do Ladders of (1,2,3) in a slow circuit within a 15-20 minute time frame. Avoid building fatigue, stay fresh and keep banking those reps.
Enjoy using your body and your environment around you to build strength! The world is your gym!
